Of course. I really wanted some texture, or in this case, lines, so I used the dodgy photoshop lines tool. Then overlayed a few gradients and some shadows and highlights and I finished it. This is all by me from scratch, I really wanted this effect in a wallpaper by someone else, couldn't find that, so I made it myself.

I myself am impressed (not trying to be stuck up here) and this is really a fun thing to do, because it gives me an idea of what graphic designing will be when I (hopefully) become one. I especially enjoyed the preview image for this variation and the original, it's by far the best preview I've done (with the semi transparent black rectangle, shadows around the words, glowing words, the font).

that's really cool. I can't do stuff like that. I only know how to use photoshop to turn pictures into spot the difference puzzles. still, really cool!
